I think it's strange to have typed that title on this blog because, well very simply, I've never felt that way before. I love reading, I love the beach, taking naps...you can pretty much get a rundown over there in my sidebar, but I digress. I love my job so much I think I am IN love with it. I might marry it, and it's definitely the kind of job you have to be married to.
So now you're wondering...well what does she do that is so amazing and yet so time consuming? Well, folks...I'm curing cancer. There you have it. Me, Myself and I are finding a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. Ok, it's not nearly so glamourous as that just sounded, but I do work for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Trainingam. We train people to run marathons, triathlons and 100 mile bike rides and in exchange they raise money for the LLS. It started out as a flyer in the mail, and it then became marathon training and fundraising, finishing an ENTIRE marathon, being a volunteer for the team the next season, a coach (sort of) and finally materialized into a job after I graduated from college!
The funny thing about this job that I've noticed is that it's full of single females in their 20's and 30's. Almost everyone in my office is either single and never married, or divorced. As far as I can tell, it's that way in a lot of the chapters. I think it's because of the long hours. (40 hour workweek plus evening info meetings to recruit participants and 4-5 day weekends traveling to events.) Not that I'm complaining, because I can't wait to work my first event. They're AWESOME with tons of people in purple yelling Go Team! and the sidelines are filled with friends, families and survivors. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. So I guess you could say I am in that very small percentage of Americans who are happy doing what they do, and I'm proud of that.
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world. Someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.

Hey Sarah, I just found your blog. Do I have some awesome cyber-stalking skills or what? J/k I actually just followed the link from your sister's blog, lol.
Your job does sound pretty awesome, helping people and all that. Even better, you said everyone at your job is a single female in their 20's or 30's. Sounds like I need a career change, are you still hiring? ha ha.
Haha Robbito. I mean, if you can endure a grueling move to the hottest state in the universe, devoid of all fun things to do like theme parks and beaches...then be my guest! :) We'd love to have you! P.S. You are a crazy stalker.
Well, according to Ohio state law when you turn 65 you have to pack up and move down to Florida. I'm not quite that old yet, so they probably wouldn't let me out of the state early anyway.
